My first ever blog : ANIME FEVER!

My first ever blog : ANIME FEVER!
                                                                                     MARCH 3, 2012

[..INTRO..]
Since I've created this blog, I'm just wondering what would be the best topic I could offer to my reader for my first ever blog.
So i chose the topic that i think would be Best and the topic that is so close to my heart.. and that would be...ANIME!:)
Honestly, It was realy intended to be published/created last week which was one week after the event..too bad I have lots of work and have no time to do suchstuff when I reached our home. ..:'(

[..OTAKOU EXPERIENCE year 2..]
Lets start.. Last March 3, 2012 there's two event for anime, one is the second year of OTAKOU EXPERIENCE (known as "OXP") in Polytechnic of
the Philippines. It was been organized by PUP Otakou group.
Being missed our alma matter, Cho and I went there and join the event, If I'm not mistaken, the event started at 10 am.. We arrived there
around 2pm.. thanks to my very kind companion since I went out to our house : TRAFFIC. On my opinion, there event would be more successful if it was held
in a more comfortable place... Not in that open area basketball court (I hate to say this but that was a big BOO for the school admin..hehe.just kidding.). I don't know wether it was the school's admin fault that the event was held in that area or any political issues between the organizers or the admin but going forward.. the area caused dilemma to almost all of the cosplayers. Cause when we arrived there were so few cosplayers in the area...Maybe it's beacuse of the hot temperature at that moment.I myself have second thought wheter to change clothes and portraited as Rin Tohska of Fate stay night or not...Until we decided not to changed clothes. That's where in fact that I got the idea why there are few cosplayers at the moment. I was so impressed to the cosplayer who portrayed as a robo something that I can't identify because only the lower part of the machine was been wear that time. Anyways, back to the topic, the program started around 3:15 pm(based on my watch)... By the way, what I've like to this event is that despite of the venue the organizers still been able to manage to put many booths and have a wonderful stage... and I also loved their baggage area. wwiiiw! such relief..:) Because other cosplay event doesn't have baggage area... Too much pain on part of the cosplayers. I wasn't been able to finished the event because of the "hot" temperature in the area. According to my research here's site where you can get the pictures : https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.330428380337062.75052.180006762045892&type=3

Unfortunately, I can't access now their official site.

[..5th Philippine Cosplay Convention..]
After going to PUP we went straight to 5th Philippine Cosplay Convention or known as "PCC" in Robinsons Place Ermita, Manila near lrt1 Pedro Gi station. So get there,Fro PUP we went straight to LRT2 Pureza to LRT2 RECTO. Then from LRT1 D.JOSE to Pedro Gil plus three blocks
walking disance from the station to Robinsons Place. While we're walking I was amazed by how the side walk vendors displays all there products... "Diskarteng Pinoy" as what others would say. It was around 3:45 when we arrived.
I was so impressed! there are so many cosplayers in the area... And all the cosplayers are happy portraying their roles each. :) Cho portrayed as Archer of Fate Stay Night while I do the Rin Tohsaka..What is Funny to this event is that we've seen three rin tohsaka (including myself) in the event and two archers.

Cho, I , the Rin Tohsaka and Archer.

The third Rin Tohsaka(left) and I.

The third Rin Tohsaka joined the cat walk. I forgot to get her name..All I've know is that she's the 21st in the catwalk..I am so amazed with her.. She really carry her role as Rin very well. The attidtude infront of the camera, hand gestures , posing and other stuff! I really envy her.How I wished I was pretty like her and can project the way she does... Anyways, I am also confident that I justify the role of Rin also..haha..XD

Cute boy cosplaying Kudo Shinichi of Detective Conan. Kawaii...:)

Rin Tohsaka and Conan.

Beside of the Third Rin Tohsaka, what really caught my attention in this cosplay event is this very cute little boy portraying conan. He's really cute.. Isn't he? Oh well, I've seen his mom and dad.. So proud to their son when the crowd goes wild just to have pictures with him... I should thank his mom and dad for having their passion in cosplays and supporting their son in such a young age.Cheers..:)

War Machine of Iron Man.

For best effort, I would give that crown to that cosplayers. It's really hard to make an armor costume like that. Budget, time and lots of efforts are mandatory to create such master piece..:)

Ragnarok character cosplayer.

I will give the second best effort to her..I really like her.. She projects o the camera well! I don't know the exact name of the character she's portaying but What I've known is that she portray a player in ragnarok... Keep it up sweetie you really project
to the camera well, And thanks for that super artistic picture..:)

Reborn of Katekyō Hitman Reborn!

He/She together with his/her really deserves the third best effort for me. Too bad I only have to take pictures with reborn because there are so many people who wants to have pictures with them. :)

Pandaren brewmaster and Rin Tohsaka

Beside from Conan, Kei chiro (coplayer above), The crowd really like him! specially the children. I was really such effort on how he portray his character. Heavy custome, limited air, limited view, and other stuff...BUt all I can say is that when you
see the smile of other people who takes pictures with them will be the best reward for all the sacrifices of the cosplayers..right?

Cho's cute friends. They are cute, Aren't they?:)

Alexander as Zuma.

Recently, I've joined the cosplay group that Cho has joined few months ago. That's the Happy heroes Club. (Alex's really name) is the founder of the group, he's the cosplayer above.I admire him for
such an effort in portraying his character.. The Body paint, contact lens and othe stuff. I rember that during the event, there was a mom who was so eager that her daughter will have pictures with zuma but when she told her daughter that: "Anak, tabi nga keo at kukunan ko kayo ng litrato..dali.." is that her daughter ran at her mother's back and cry out loud.. saying "ayoko..ayoko.." and continue crying... Oh well, the mom can't dosomething... For me, that's not fail on part of the cosplayers. It only shows that he really do portrayed his character well because the little girl felt ""horrified" to him... For that, Around of a applaus Zuma..:)

Hazel as Boa Hancock.

Hazel was so sexy.. Isn't she? hehe..:) Like Alex, She's also part of the happy heroes club. She was also member to Grandline Philippines. Which was actually featured to the Hero Channel last March 3,2012. Amazing! Isn't it?:) She told to her fb account that it was her second time in portraying the character... On my honest opinion. She was awesome. Right choice of character. Right? You can also view the grandline site here: http://grandlineph.blogspot.com/

Kaede Rukawa, Rin Tohsaka and Hanamichi Sakuragi

As they say, Save the best for last...:) The crowd really goes wild when this too young men have their presentation during the catwalk. They are kuraudo (left) and George (right) of happy heroes club. Certified cosplayers. :) Name the event and they will tell you what character they portrayed. FACT: they are cousins,
not twin nor siblings. hehe. Lastly, Kuraudo is younger by one year to george...

It all started with a name

What's with the name?

Maybe all of you must be wondering why this blog was entitled "..cOated-cLipz.." Being inspired to my officemate's blog (no spam, no virus, no kidding! of Chyng Reyes http://www.chyngreyes.com/)

I've been able to come up with the idea of having my own blog. I don't know if I can inspire other people in a good way or they might hate me in other way but all I know is that I want to right a again.. Maybe unlike way back in elementary or in high school that I've been doing articles for our publishing paper in school...under pressure and all stuff, but right now…NO DEADLINE, NO PROOF READER, NO ADVISER, NO TOPIC TO PUSH THROUGH.. It was all about me and my experience that I want to share to each person that might be able to reach this blog.

So what's with the name? I never thought that once I've created a blog account, you should have your title already..(  haha! silly me! XD) I've asked several officemate and asked for their opinions... someone told me "walang jeep na masikip sa driver na gipit"..haha.. I want that slogan but I think foreign reader might not understand the meaning of those phrase and can't even relate to a single thing.. I've Cho for his suggestion, and he told me "How about a wonderful day" or "Welcome to my world, my rule"... I thank them for such kind response... until out of the blue.. I started looking to all the stuffs in my work station…my pen, my monitor, my pentel pen... until I stare even longer to my sticky notes..haha! believe it or not..That's my  first title to this blog.. Cho said that it wasn't catchy so I continue staring at my stuff....still in my work station… and voila! My attention was caught by my "coated clips"..tomo!(right).. I was a box of paper clips... so mysterious and so catchy...:) That God.. I have a title to this blog! :)

What to expect?
Oh well, It's too difficult on my side to ENUMERATE all the things that must be written in this blog. So I might say that "Just go with the flow" and "No boundaries, No limits".. :)
Hope you'll like this blog...and enjoy each topic...Have a nice day… :)
